The Appeal
There’s few cars with the sheer impact of the Volkswagen Golf, and few Golfs more desirable than the GLi Cabriolet. The joys of top-down motoring, with GTi spec in all-but-name; that’s the stuff dreams are made of. The plucky little cars are still hugely popular across the world, and a much-loved legacy some forty years later.
This example has spent all of its life in the dry climes of Spain, where it’s been nicely kept and free of significant corrosion. With gold paintwork and a retrimmed interior, it’s a top-notch example for any collector.
