The Background
Like most motorcycle companies Husqvarna started out making bicycles and it wouldn’t be until 1903 that they’d start manufacturing motorcycles. Although they have made motorcycles for street use and road racing, they’re better known for their world championship winning motocross and endurobikes.
During the 1960s and 70’s their light weight two stroke methodology helped them to 14 motocross championships in the 125cc, 250cc and 500cc categories, 24 enduro world championships and 11 Baja 1000 victories.

This bike was produced during Husqvarna’s winning decades so you can be sure that it is an excellent bike to ride.
The History
There is not a huge amount of history that is available for the bike, but we can say that it has been restored at some point in the past. There is an up to date V5, which was applied for during February of 2021. There is also the original blue logbook which details the original owner from Troon.
It is a rare occurrence for this bike to have been UK registered from new back in 1978 and due to the age of the bike it now benefits from being MOT and Tax exempt.
