The Appeal
The Jensen-Healey nestles itself into the arena of classic British sports car somewhere between a luxury car and an out-and-out sports car. It is certainly a capable performer, with its 16-valve overhead cam Lotus engine mounted at a jaunty angle under the bonnet. But it also has plush seating, wood trim pieces and a radio. Truly luxurious appointments.
This particular Jensen-Healey has spent its life in Spain, so is presented in well preserved condition. The bodywork and paint look particularly good, and the car sits on a set of attractive alloy wheels which finish it off very nicely.
So if you’re after a rare and capable classic British sports car, this Jensen is certainly one to consider.
