The Appeal
Penned by the great Giovanni Michelotti, it is perhaps no wonder this UK supplied right-hand drive Triumph Spitfire looks so at home in Italy. With its clamshell bonnet akin to the E-Type and simple soft top roof arrangement, similar to an Austin Healey, the Spitfire borrowed from many of the great British roadsters to create something really rather fun.
Imported to Italy in 2005 and restored shortly afterwards, this Triumph is in very good overall condition and reportedly drives exceedingly well. If you’re looking for a compact convertible sports car, the Spitfire really punches above its weight.
