THE APPEAL
Back when it debuted, who would have guessed that the MGB would go on to become the UK’s most popular sports car and today is the most prevalent classic car in the world, with over 20,000 known survivors in the UK alone, multiple owners’ clubs and an entire industry built up around its ongoing survival.
This one is a truly lovely example – subject to a no-expense-spared restoration in 2010, it was treated to a complete retrim in smart biscuit-coloured leather, along with a comprehensive strip-down and bare metal respray.
It has been with the vendor for a decade and during his ownership the car has had a substantial mechanical overhaul with many new parts (detailed below), but the car hasn’t been used since 2015 for health reasons.

SUMMARY
If you’re after a truly beautiful example of a chrome-bumpered MGB Roadster, then this one is well worthy of your consideration. It’s an attractive colour scheme and has been restored to an extremely high standard and carefully looked after ever since.
It’s well above the average MGB Roadster in terms of its condition, with barely a blemish to the exterior and a lovely, subtly modernised cabin.
Although it hasn’t been used on the road since 2015, the owner has still kept on top of the car’s maintenance and it has been carefully stored in a heated and carpeted garage at the same time, meaning it’s ready to go.
