The Appeal
This is a very very rare opportunity to purchase one of just 107 Jenson Ferguson Formula IIs ever produced.
For its time it was a very advanced car, sporting a lot of features that were ahead of its time, being the first ever production car to have all-wheel drive and anti-lock brakes. A rare chance to own a vehicle that has been fully stripped and prepared for a comprehensive restoration, sure to be a valuable and rare vehicle when complete.

The History and Paperwork
- V5 Present
- Massive history file
The car was kept by the previous keeper for around 20 years, after which the current keeper purchased the car in 2022 as a restoration project but was not able to continue with the restoration. The original blue V5 is present, along with a huge 60-page history file from Martin Robey including a heritage certificate.
The Interior
- Most if not all original parts appear to be present
- Overall sound condition
- Ready for restoration
The interior of this lovely vehicle is stripped and ready for complete restoration. It appears that all parts are present, and overall the interior components appear to be in reasonable condition, besides storage dust etc. It is currently trimmed in black leather.
The Exterior
- Bodywork appears straight
- Lovely red paint
The bodywork appears to be straight and in overall good condition, presented in a lovely red paint which will look fantastic when complete. A few known missing parts are the bonnet, lights and badges. Overall a very nice basis for restoration and again most parts appear to be present and stripped ready to restore.
The Mechanics
- Engine in very nice condition
- Lots of parts present
Mechanically the vehicle appears to be in good condition, it would appear that the engine and transmission have already had some restoration work carried out. A lot of boxes of parts and a very nice foundation to work with.
Summary
Very few people have seen an FF in person, with the Interceptor being far more common. This car was a real masterpiece of its time and now a very collectable and valuable machine. With this lovely car being totally prepared for restoration, with a lot of the time involved stripping and preparing already having been carried out, this most certainly is an opportunity not to be missed.
