The Appeal
The Sunbeam Alpine might just be one of the most underappreciated British classic cars there is. Whilst the Alpine has a dedicated owners club and values are now rising, for many years the Alpine sat in the shadow of the then mighty MG’s. However the Alpine has sharp good looks, reliable and very tunable engines and combines this with a surprisingly refined interior that puts its rivals to shame.
This Alpine is the final MK V version and benefits from having the 1,725cc engine, which is much improved over its predecessors. Finished in white with a black hood the Alpine looks fantastic from every angle and the condition is superb throughout. The red interior feels very much of its time and with the hood down and the sun shining we can think of few better cars to take to a classics show on a lazy Sunday.

Summary
The Sunbeam Alpine was a fantastic British sports car that was eclipsed by the MG’s of the time, however they have now found a following and good examples are steadily appreciating and they don’t come much better than this. Whilst we don’t have extensive history for this Alpine it’s clear from the condition of the car that it has both been restored to a very high standard and exceptionally well cared for.
It’s in superb condition throughout, from the engine to the paintwork it looks like it could have just rolled out of the factory. Perfect for easy going driving in the sun, it's a fantastic looking British classic that's sure to bring a smile to your face.
