The Appeal
No introduction to the Rover P5 is complete without reference to government officials, ambassadors, the Queen and Mrs Thatcher. So we thought we’d get that over within the first sentence and crack on with introducing this deliciously original example.
Fresh out of long-term ownership, this P5 remains in beautifully original condition. It retains its gently patinated leather upholstery, the rest of the interior is similarly undisturbed, and even the wiring loom looks to be original. The two-tone paintwork is in wonderful condition, with hardly a blemish to be found, and the engine bay looks almost exactly as it would have done when it was first pressed into use almost exactly sixty years ago.
So if you’re looking for a time travelling portal to take you back to the early ‘60s, we can’t offer you that, but we can offer the next best thing: this delectable Rover P5.
