Highlights
- Thoroughly restored interior
- Countless ease-of-life improvements made under the bonnet
- Certainly a good condition car inside and out
The Appeal
Just like its younger sibling, the MG A is an icon of British motoring, defining the sports car of the 1950s. Gorgeous lines and a nifty 1.5-litre engine caught the attention of the American market, a region in which MG sold many examples.
Manufactured in 1958, that was also the fate of this example finished in red. Since hitting US soil upon its sale, it has travelled across the world with the car’s current owner purchasing it in Dubai. After a thorough interior and mechanical restoration including several modernising modifications, this MG A Roadster returned to the UK, where it has remained since.
Clearly a great example inside and out, it has covered very few miles in the UK and is, as a result, very clean underneath.

Summary
Originally destined for the American market, this 1958 MG A Roadster has travelled across much of the world, ending up back in the UK. Externally a very good-looking example, it has had many new parts fitted under the surface.
Under its current ownership, it has had a totally refreshed interior while countless parts under the bonnet have been replaced. This is certainly a well-cared for model.
