The Appeal
This Mercedes-Benz 220A was sold new in Vienna in 1955, the year Austria gained full independence from postwar allied occupation. Its first owner resided in the capital’s historic first district and the car remained in Austria for many decades, residing mainly in the city of Graz.
The cabriolet body looks particularly appealing, and gives the car a flamboyant air. It perfectly complements the car’s graceful styling and makes it the ideal year-round classic.
Leather upholstery and polished wooden trim finish the interior beautifully and the chrome switches and steering wheel add a flash of class.
