A fastidiously maintained and uprated example of the five seat 110
Over £12,000 spent in the last two years resulting in a highly useable example
Complete with lots of valuable extras and additions making it a truly flexible 110
The Appeal
The Land Rover 90 and 110 were launched in 1984 as replacements to the ubiquitous Series Land Rovers and offered the user a host of useful enhancements and refinements over the, now, rather old-fashioned Series vehicles. The Defender name was only introduced in 1990, however, when the introduction of the Discovery rendered Land Rover a multi-model marque for the first time. Notably improvements included a coil sprung suspension for improved ride and axle articulation, a more modern single piece windscreen, plastic arch extensions to accommodate the wider track and a permanent four-wheel-drive system adopted from the Range Rover.
This example has benefitted from a low owner count all of whom seem to have been enthusiastic and engaged owners. As such a great deal of time and money has been lavished on this example and putting it into a flexible specification that could be enjoyed as is or further developed into a full camper specification.

Summary
The 110 Defender is a large and flexible vehicle which can be used confidently literally anywhere. The Defenders look equally at home on the farm or outside the most stately of stately homes. This particular example looks great with its many useful adornments and popular blue colourway. The owner confirms it to be a real head turner and conversation starter.
This Defender has been usefully upgraded with its additions thoughtfully chosen by enthusiasts who clearly like to use and enjoy the vehicle. It provides a great platform that could easily be upgraded to full camper specification or, alternatively, returned to a stock condition if required. Most importantly, however, this example has been mechanically futureproofed regardless of expense. As such it should provide the new owner with the ultimate reassurance and provide many more years of faithful and enjoyable service.
