This is a genuine and rare Z32 twin-turbo 2+2 JDM totally stock with perfectly working HICAS, OEM stereo with remote control, cruise control and ice-cold air conditioning.
If you want the best and most original JDM Z32 available - this is it - fully serviced, no yukky rust and everything works !
I am currently the 2nd owner of this car which has always been professionally garage serviced with original parts. A Swiss businessman bought it new in Japan whilst he was working there.
He was transferred to the Netherlands and brought it with him expecting to stay here but when unexpectedly recalled to Japan, he left it in a friends' dry garage where it remained for 20x years until his friend retired and needed to sell the house and garage - when I bought it !
I have ALL the original docs, handbook, service guides, Japanese salesmans' business card - crazy little details that make the difference for a true collector.
After a year of working on the car, getting everything back in working order, replacing what wasn't and doing a complete overhaul including new timing belts, shock absorbers, silent blocks, rear lights.....!
I said stock but that's not quite true: the air conditioning has been recharged with R134a along with the new parts needed to accept it and, in addition, has been fitted with an HKS speed delimiter and fitted with a brand new JDM 280km/ h speedometer.
In short, much more spent than expected and although fortunately most, if not all, the parts are still surprisingly available, they all come from Japan or the USA and the costs gradually add up. Having passed its 'MOT' (valid until November 2028 as it is registered as a classic car) and now insured (inexpensively under a classic policy), it can now be enjoyed on the road.
I have had great pleasure and learnt a lot whilst bringing this car back to life and on the road again but I have spent too much to get the car finished and need the money for other projects - my wife wants a new stone terrace for example...... and tells me I have too many toyZs already....... which is not wrong :-). No regrets - I know the next owner will drive this car with pride and I hope they look after it properly.
The car is currently being professionally repainted (available in the Spring for more sunny motoring) and as a result it will be impossible to take more photos and arrange road-tests and views ; the car is currently just NE of Le Mans.
All 4x wheels have been refurbished and the car also comes with a pair of staggered rears of 8. 5".
Re the CT (MOT/ APK/ TUV) : the brake parts have since been replaced, the fog lights correctly aligned and has a new rear spoiler. The car is also supplied with a stainless-steel after-market full exhaust system should the next owner want to fit and make a little more noise :-) !
On Japanese size and style registration plates... because it's the details that count :-)
