The Appeal
As any fan of hot hatches can tell you, the EP3 Civic Type R is one of the all-time greats. With a free revving, naturally aspirated 2-litre VTEC, a fine chassis and one of the best transmissions ever built, it’s no wonder they remain sought after and are increasing in value.
This is the rarest of EP3s – a low mileage, completely unmodified and original example. As a late facelift model, it has all the enhancements you would want and also has a superb MOT history. We doubt there are many better EP3s out there, so if you’ve always wanted one then this is probably as nice an example as you’ll find.

Summary
Very few EP3 Type Rs remain in this kind of condition. With so many being heavily modified, it’s lovely to see one that has been kept so well and remains in factory stock condition.
Presented in the most desirable specification – a late facelift model – and possessing a superb MOT history and very low mileage, we think this smart little hot hatch is an absolute cracker.
