The Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club (RREC) has about 10,000 members, 70% in the UK and the remainder overseas. Its headquarters are at Paulerspury in Northamptonshire. The Club is for Enthusiasts’ of Rolls-Royce and post 1931 Bentley cars, and most members own (at least) one of these cars (called Club cars). For further details of the RREC, go to their website at rrec.co.uk
The East Midlands Section is one of 40 Sections in the Club, and 19 in the UK. Our Section covers Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, and parts of other adjacent counties. All RREC members can attend our events, which are advertised in this website.
In the Winter, we organise one Sunday event a month, and in the Summer, at least two Sunday events. In some Summer months, we have an event every Sunday! Jeff Dennis organises an excellent week-end in early June (in fact, it is Monday to Thursday!). In addition, we have a monthly pub meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month at Rolls-Royce, Hucknall, and in the Summer we extend this ‘meet’ to other venues.
Our Section has about 250 members. We believe we are a very friendly, and every new member will be given a warm welcome. Members’ cars range from the foundation of Rolls-Royce in 1904 to almost new Bentleys & Rolls-Royces. However, most members own Silver Shadows (1965-80) or Silver Spirits (1980-98) and Bentley derivatives. We have some interesting ‘between the Wars’ and ‘early post WW2’ cars (1946-65).
We hope you enjoy exploring our website, and look forward to seeing you at our Section events.
