The Norfolk and Norwich Rover Owners Club is a friendly and informal club for the whole family. It was established in 1977 to cater for the Rover P4 but has since been extended to include all classic Rovers from the P2 to the P6 and SD1.
Initially a Norfolk club, over the years members have joined from an increasingly wider area which now includes Suffolk, Essex & Cambridgshire and events/rallies are attended in all these areas throughout the summer. These are intended to encourage use of our cars and offer a pleasant day out.
New members are always welcome and details together with an application form can be found on the join page. Members also have access to lists of other rallies together with contact details for body/upholstery/paint workshops and parts suppliers.
Club meetings are held from March to November on the last Thursday of the month at the Bird In Hand public house in Wreningham, just south of Norwich on the B1113. These give the chance for a friendly chat with other enthusiasts or just a social get together. In addition the club organises an annual Christmas Dinner around the middle of December, for members and friends.
The club holds its annual rally at the beautiful Bressingham gardens and steam museum near Diss on the first Sunday in September. This event has now been running for many years and often attracts well over 100 cars with each model being well represented. Cups are awarded for the best cars as judged by those attending with their cars, and the car of the show is chosen by the rally sponsor. The rally is also open to non members and details are available from the club's event secretary listed on the contact page or click here for a printable entry form.
Why not come and join us.
