The Pre'67 Ford Owners Club originated back in 1981 with some Ford enthusiasts who were fed up with being merely names and numbers on the membership lists of the one make clubs in the Deep South. They wanted to be different. From initial cosy meetings around a table for three, the club has now grown to over 250 members from all over Britain, including Northern Ireland, although membership is predominantly in Scotland and the North of England.
Regular meetings are held in Edinburgh and Glasgow and classic car shows are attended throughout the season spreading the Henry message. There are regular social events, workshop evenings and a spares and technical advice service for members. In keeping with Ford tradition the club has a range of regalia available in any colour so long as it is black (more recently though we have added white).
The club has won many awards over the years for its displays at outdoor and indoor events including the silver rose bowl for the Best Club Stand five years in succession at the Ingliston Scottish National Classic Car Show. Arising from these experiences was the development of the Club annual gathering into the Scottish Ford Day and Classic Car Show.
