The Ford MK IV Owners Club was established in 1983, and received official recognition from the Ford Motor Company in February of 1984. The main reason for the existence of the club is to preserve and keep our chosen motor on the road and in the public eye. The club has about 120 members, mainly in Britain, but with representatives throughout the world. The club tries to be represented at various shows throughout the country, at large international events and small local shows. Over the years the club has been featured in most of the Classic Car Magazines.
As an owners club/organisation we are able to pool information on a nationwide basis about spares availability. Spare parts are always sought after for older motor vehicles, and as a club we are able to purchase any new supplies that become available. We also have companies that supply us with new parts such as exhaust systems, gaskets sets, hoses, rear discs, track rod ends, suspension bushes etc.
The club issues a quarterly magazine, the issue dates being March, June, September and December. This enables us to keep in touch with the membership and keep them informed of events and parts for sale.
