History
Chester Vintage Enthusiasts Club was formed in 1959 by a group of motoring enthusiasts, with a love for cheap motoring. In those heady days, Vintage or indeed Veteran cars could be bought cheaply and many of the original members used these as daily drivers.
The Club is open to any enthusiasts with an interest in old cars, however, we do have a cut off date of 1973, but you don't need a car to join !
Club members also benefit from a monthly newsletter.
Meetings
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at the Cheshire View in Christleton. There are many Club events running through out the year including Treasure Hunts, Dinners out, Guest speakers, Technical talks ect. We also arrange Club stands at various local car shows and are regularly invited to various motoring events, such as the Oulton Park Gold Cup, Cholmondley Pageant of Power, Tatton Park and a number of other shows.
The Club is affiliated to the Federation of Historic Vehicle Clubs and also MSA members.
