Since its formation in 1990, Allegro Club International has confounded all its critics by growing steadily, both in membership, and in the range of activities and facilities offered. The initial aim of bringing together owners of Allegros of all types and models continues, with the emphasis on promoting the preservation and use of Allegros, whether as cherished cars or everyday workhorses.
Today the Allegro is rapidly gaining popularity among enthusiasts who realise its true potential.
The International aspect is important. ACI has several members scattered across Europe and further afield. We are keen to forge more links with owners overseas, wherever they may be.
The club has an archive available to members wishing to learn more about the history of the marque, or about their particular model.
ACI is recognised by MG Rover Group Limited, and by the motoring and general press. It is fully independent, and is run by an unpaid committee of volunteers, elected annually by members.
