Imported in 1993, and vigorously maintained by Chris Hawking, BMW specialist, Bath.
Obviously a matching numbers bike, and although the 23k miles on the speedo is unlikely to be correct, this is one very well maintained machine, that runs and rides as a good R90S should. UK V5 MOT history. Last owner almost 10 years, ……………. which is always a good sign.
Large history file, documenting significant maintenance investment in the bike, including new starter motor, timing chain kit, fork rebuild, new Siebenrock seat, new Dellorto carbs, electrics re fresh, brakes overhaul, etc, etc. Wheels have nice spokes, original alloy rims with modern tyres, and there are some really nice period extras, such as full factory luggage, fork brace, fork gaitors, Surefoot sidestand, lots of stainless, including header pipes and inlet stubs, and the all important tool kit and hand pump are present and correct.
