Within the world of beautiful classic vehicles, the Austin Healey 3000 is a very well-known model. This British open sports car was produced from 1959 to 1967 by the British Motor Corporation. This stylish open sports car was produced in various versions, including this beautiful Austin Healey 3000 MKII. This Austin Healey 3000 was originally delivered in 1961 in the United States. It is a so-called BT7 version, so a 2 + 2 seater version. In the early 90s, the car was completely restored, during which the car was completely resprayed and the interior was also completely renewed. The restoration was a while ago, but the car is still in very nice and good condition. There are some slight discolourations visible on the underside of the body parts, but the paintwork still largely has a particularly beautiful shine. The various chrome and trim parts are also still in good condition. This also applies to the various rubber parts and seals, which are also still in very good condition. The convertible top has been used little in all these years and is still in reasonably good condition. The side windows are also present with the car. The stylish spoke rims give the car extra allure.
The interior is still in exceptionally good condition. The red leather seats with stylish white piping are still in almost new condition. It is truly special that the interior is in such good condition after all these years. It clearly shows how much care and love the car has been maintained with. The stylish red interior is a perfect match with the Old English White body colour. The red carpet is still in very good condition and the beautiful red dashboard with magnificent Smiths counters is beautiful to behold. Of course, all instruments work properly. The wooden steering wheel is beautiful to behold and is also a perfect match for this car.
When we open the hood, we see a beautiful engine block. The 2912 cc liter six-cylinder is not only beautiful to look at, but even more beautiful to listen to. This beautiful engine with the three well-known SU carburetors runs particularly nice and quiet. The gearbox is equipped with an overdrive, which provides extra comfort. This beautiful Austin Healey is not only beautiful to look at but even more wonderful to drive. The brakes work firmly and solidly and the car shifts very smoothly and well. This iconic classic roadster (in a perfect color combination) is without a doubt a very attractive car, waiting for the next enthusiast.
