The RS500R was introduced in 1982 and used by importers teams and privateers until 1988
Similar to the factory NS500 but used slightly less exotic materials making it more affordable
Water-cooled, three-cylinder, two-stroke with reed-valve induction until 1986 when Honda released the ATAC stystem
Successful from its debut and now collectible and sought after
This example comes from a private Irish Collection, restored to its current condition but never used
Painted in Joey Dunlop NW200 colours
The frame number is one digit away from Roger Marshall's factory Honda Britain entry
