This is a very good example of Morris's venerable Traveller, 2 owners from new.
Fully restored by well renowned restorer Brian Paul in Portreath in 2012, which involved stripping down to a bare shell, all rust cut out and replaced with new metal, full repaint, then all new wood fitted at a cost of nearly £20, 000.
The car has been garaged had regular gentle use since and is still in excellent order.
We have just carried out a major service to prepare the car for sale including all new suspension bushes, brake cylinders and shoes replaced (the hoses are stainless steel braided), so with the servo assistance they pull up well.
The cooling system has been flushed and a new radiator, hoses, heater valve and water pump fitted.
The oil and filter, plugs and air filter have been changed, other levels checked and grease points greased.
The structure of the car is still in excellent condition, the metalwork had all rust removed, new metal let in as required and then extensively painted and waxoyled , the wood work was all replaced and shows no signs of darkening or rot anywhere, partly due to garaging and partly to the very expensive Sikkens varnish applied to it!
There is a large file of paperwork with the car detailing the owners (2 according to the V5C!) and also full details, photographs and invoices for the restoration work, as well as earlier service history, old mot's, etc.
The interior has a largely original feel to it although the carpets and headlining were replaced when the car was restored, the seats are original although the drivers seat has just received new webbing and foam so you sit up at the height that you should and is nice and comfortable.
There are modern recoil seatbelts fitted in the front and back.
The car presents very well today, there are odd little marks and scuffs from use over the past 13 years since the restoration, but the car is still very smart and will have may years of use before anymore major work is required.
Although tax and mot exempt, the car will be sold with a new mot included in the price for peace of mind.
