7, 219 kilometres (less than 5, 000 miles) to the odometer

A well-presented example
This Suzuki TL1000S is believed to be in standard and unmolested condition. Acquired by the vendor in 2004, it has been lightly used over the past 11 years. The machine has been dry stored when not in use and currently displays a total of only 7, 219 kilometres on the odometer (at the time of photography/ cataloguing).
The Suzuki was ordered new from Belgium and privately imported into the UK where it was first registered on 26th March 1998 (copy order request on file). Exported to Guernsey in 2004, it comes with a Guernsey Registration Certificate for '16720' and a photocopy of its old V5 registration document for 'R188 PMO' listing Mr Neil Chowney as first owner. It should be noted that the Vehicle Registration Number 'R188 PMO' is associated with a 2004 'Export' marker in the HPI/ DVLA database. Accordingly, prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves with regard to the validity and status of this motorcycle's registration prior to bidding. The successful purchaser is responsible for applying to the DVLA to retrieve the vehicle's registration number.
Accompanying documents include the following: expired MoTs; sundry invoices; new keeper slip; various magazines; an owner's manual; and the aforementioned Guernsey Registration Certificate and photocopied V5 Registration Certificate. Spares include the original pillion seat cowl, grab rail, and footrests. A well-presented example that has covered the equivalent of fewer than 5, 000 miles from new.
All lots are sold 'as is/ where is' and Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the provenance, condition, age, completeness and originality prior to bidding. Visit the Bonhams Motorcycles website for all pertinent auction information.
