4, 098 miles to the odometer
Introduced in 1958, Honda's classic 50cc C100 Super Cub 'step-thru' gave millions of people the world over their first taste of two-wheeled mobility. Numerous derivatives of various capacities followed, the 72cc C70 version arriving in 1969. Better-built, more powerful and more reliable than the majority of contemporary mopeds, and endowed with handling superior to that of the small-wheeled scooter, the Super Cub family set new sales records for motorcycle production and continues to be immensely popular today.
Exported to Guernsey in 2019, this believed unrestored C70 has been dry stored when not in use and currently displays a total of only 4, 098 miles on the odometer at the time of cataloguing/ photography. It comes with a Guernsey Registration Certificate for '11351' and a copy of its old V5C registration document for 'KCF 476P'. It should be noted that Vehicle Registration Number 'KCF 476P' is associated with an 'Export' marker in the DVLA database and does not appear in the HPI records. Accordingly, prospective purchasers should satisfy themselves with regard to the validity and status of this motorcycle's registration prior to bidding. The successful purchaser is responsible for applying to the DVLA to retrieve the vehicle's registration number.
Additional documentation includes an expired MoT certificate (2015); 2011 SORN confirmation; Honda service booklet (last stamped 16-1-1976 @ 2, 970miles); C70 Owner's Manual; Haynes workshop manual; sundry bills/ invoices; and some marque-related literature together with original tool kit.
