Lot 120

2024 Lamborghini Revuelto Coupé
Registration no. CN74 BWU
Chassis no. ZHWECIZM9RLA00884

• 1, 001 horsepower plug-in hybrid supercar
• Numerous factory options
• Cost over £560, 000 when new
• Circa 600 miles from new

Nowadays, in these increasingly environmentally-conscious times, even supercar manufacturers are expected to make at least a cursory nod in the direction of better fuel economy and reduced emissions; hence the arrival of 'hybrid' technology in this previously exclusively fossil-fuels-only sector of the market. This has had the effect of endowing the modern supercar with some 'green' credentials, while at the same time bringing with it a welcome performance boost in the form of an additional (electric) motor, or motors.

Lamborghini's first plug-in hybrid, the Revuelto was launched in March 2023, and in keeping with the Italian marque's tradition takes its name from a famous Spanish fighting bull. Representing another continuing tradition is the Revuelto's main power unit, which is of V12 configuration like that of all Lamborghini's flagship models dating back to its first: the 350 GT of 1963. In the Revuelto's case its naturally aspirated V12 (based on that of the outgoing Aventador) displaces 6. 5 litres and is complemented by three electric motors, two of which drive the front wheels, while the rear wheels are driven via a transversely-mounted, eight-speed, dual-clutch, automated manual transmission. The third electric motor is integral with the gearbox. Peak output of the combined powertrain is a mighty 1, 001bhp, of which 813 horsepower is contributed by the high-revving V12.

The Revuelto starts in electric-only mode, only firing up the V12 when some six or so miles have been covered, though manual intervention can start the petrol engine at any time. According to Autocar magazine's road test editor, Matt Sunders: "Getting the best out of the Revuelto from a starting start means selecting a mix of Corsa and Performance, and ensuring that the battery is at least 90% full.

"The Revuelto's initial getaway is ferociously clean. A flutter of scrabbling rubber as second gear hits home is perhaps to be expected, even with truck-style 355-section tyres at the back, but thereafter? It's a show of seamless, devastating accelerative force that surpasses that of every other supercar to which this magazine has affixed timing gear.

"To hit 60mph the Revuelto needs just 2. 48sec, with 100mph reached in 4. 8sec and 150mph in 10sec dead. ... above 100mph the Revuelto really begins to flex, taking roughly only a second to dispatch 10mph increments until around 160mph. Over a standing kilometre, the Revuelto has no equal in our road test records." Top speed is a claimed 217mph-plus, while helping keep this stupendous performance in check are 10-piston brake callipers gripping ceramic discs.

Like that of almost all modern supercars, the Revuelto's chassis/ body is constructed of carbon fibre and is 25% more torsionally rigid than that of the Aventador despite being 10% lighter. At 112 litres capacity, the front luggage compartment is larger than the Aventador's too. Commenting on the Revuelto's interior, Autocar magazine's road test editor Matt Sunders declared: "Pulling open one of the Revuelto's supersized butterfly doors and dropping into the cabin confirms what the release images suggested: in terms of materials quality and fit and finish, this is by far the most impressive Lamborghini yet." Both headroom and leg room have been increased when compared with the Aventador, while the steering column has a wide range of fore-and-aft adjustment. Needless to say, the Revuelto's touchscreen instrumentation is state of the art, as is the app-based infotainment system, fully connected via smartphone.

Delivered new in August 2024 by Lamborghini Bristol, this example is a finance company repossession. Currently displaying a total of circa 600 miles on the odometer, it was ordered with a comprehensive range of factory options, raising the on-the-road price to an eye-watering £564, 627 (see Lamborghini Bristol's detailed invoice on file). The car also comes with its original book pack and battery charger. The Revuelto has a full order book into 2026 (as of December 2024), so this very nearly new example represents an exciting opportunity to own one of these truly spectacular supercars without having to wait.

Please note that this lot is subject to additional VAT on the Hammer Price.
