Description
The supplied British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate with this well presented Morris Mini Cooper shows the factory build was completed on 28th June 1962. This example is an early car having been built within the first twelve months of the Cooper’s production and before the introduction of the Cooper S in 1963. A beautifully simple UK supplied car delivered to Basingstoke with the only factory extra being a fresh air heater.
A ground up restoration was completed in 2024 with the car finished to a good standard with a Newton Commercial interior and appropriate attention to detail including the correct 3. 5” wheels with stainless steel Deluxe trims. The only modifications the car sports over it’s factory specification are uprated Cooper S brake discs along with an assisting servo.
The car drives superbly and is ready to hit the road, an early Cooper example to use and enjoy in the upcoming show season.
