Description
The fantastically beautiful Mercedes 190 SL, a roadster for the export market, was of particular interest to the ‘New World’. The concept was presented at the 1954 Sports Car Show in New York. The enthusiasm of the public and the pressure exerted on the manufacturer by the American Mercedes importer Maxi Hoffman to realise the project ultimately led to series production. As many as 22, 881 units of this model series were built between 1995 and 1963.
Our Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Roadster was first delivered in Saudi Arabia and later appeared in the USA. It has been in Germany since 1989 and has been restored here. Today it is with the 2nd German owner. A DEKRA expert report certifies that the classic car is in excellent condition with a grade of 1. Today we conservatively say condition 2. This 190 SL is a classic in the best sense of the word: ready for immediate use, ideal for travelling in the beautiful season.
