2003 Porsche 911 (996) 40 Year (Jahre) Anniversary Edition 3. 6 manual
First registered 25/ 11/ 2003.
Ltd edition number 0567 of 1963 produced worldwide with around only 125 RHD examples coming to the UK, so a very rare car indeed.
The "40 Jahre" model was to commemorate 40 years of the 911 first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963.

3. 6 Carrera 2 manual narrow body. Unique to this special edition were the following upgrades and enhancements making it a truly special example of Porsches pedigree and racing heritage.
X51 power pack producing 345bhp (20bhp more than standard), factory fitted MO30 lowered (-10mm) sports suspension and PSM (Porsche Stability Management) with a LSD (Limited slip differential) for improved traction and dynamic handling.

In preparation for sale over £7, 500 service and mechanical work inc brakes overhaul including all new wear sensors, new rear discs and pads, all new brake lines, refurbished front callipers and new pads, brake fluid, all new AC and cooling rads (both sides) breather and vent hoses, clamps etc, bump stops, 4 anti roll bar links, bonnet struts, new battery, Refurbished wheels as close to factory production as possible (ceramic polishing process)(please note correct centre caps will be supplied)
Other notable previous service work includes IMS upgrade, new RMS and IMS seal, replacement of coffin arms, ball joints, exhaust bolts/ clamps and etc. Head skim, head gasket, bolts and piston ring set, auxiliary belt and timing kit, clutch kit, lambada sensor.
The GT silver paint is a real standout and overall the bodywork presents exceptionally well for its age with minimal stone chips and blemishes. Having been dry stored by the previous owner since 2010 it has helped preserve the car well.
Driving this special 996 is a delight with its nimble 2wd, additional HP and power delivery makes for an exciting free revving fast paced well planted pursuit on any British road.
