**** Jaguar 1959 XK 150 DHC 3. 4 manual with over drive ***
This Jaguar was purchased by me a few years ago, I have had my eye on it for over 40 plus years!
I used to see this car running around when I was a kid, it was owned by a local builder and I always loved the look and sound
of it running down the high street. The Builder sold it to one of his friends in about 1969, he drove it for about a couple of year
to 1971 with only 56, 000 miles on the clock! ( Then parked it up )
The XK is a UK right hand drive car from new and is not your usual rot box with being kept in a warm paint manufacturing factory.
I have my own body shop so we brought the car back to do some repairs and re paint it to it's former glory, it's now sitting in primer which is in grey waiting to put the colour on, but was hesitating to think which colour I was going to make her? original colour was mist grey, but not sure if I'd like it in that? and sorry to say that was a year ago or so now and life has move on to a few other projects! The engine turns over freely, when we first got her we had her fired up, but not for long, the carbs will require recommissioning.
So this one of four projects that I am putting up for sale and I have not got the time to finish!
