The car resided in Soquel, Santa Cruz, California from new and understood to have had only 2 keepers being father and son. The car was sourced by vehicle importers Wheels of Old, Dorrington, Shrewsbury and hand selected due to its rust free and damage free condition. We have images of the car taken by Butlin and Sons showing what fantastic original condition it was in prior to restoration. We believe the mileage to be original based on the evident wear and tear prior to restoration but have no documented history to support this.

Each image taken by Butin and Sons has the owner's initials on a card in each picture to prove that each is genuine and not library pictures, great attention to detail. The total restoration costs exceeded £80, 000 and the car was valued up on completion at £100, 000.

Since completion on 1st November 2018 the car has only covered a mere 2350 miles. We had the pleasure of selling this car to the previous fastidious owner two years ago and have now taken it back in the same outstanding order.
Today this beautiful 2+2 Coupe presents in exceptional order throughout, including the fully detailed underside.

The history file documents the vehicles 5 year restoration by Butlin and Sons, owners handbook, Jaguar Heritage Certificate, 2 sets of keys, and State of California Certificate of Title detailing the Stateside owner Mr. Jack Cross who took ownership of the car from his father on 8th February 1997 prior to being exported back to the UK 19th March 2012.
