The magnificent 1959 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe de Ville featured here is finished in a totally bespoke Kristal Stardust III (Pearl White) paint finish over a handmade Gold and White Italian leather interior featuring custom floral-pattern inserts. This incredible, one-of-a-kind motorcar was restored and customized in Italy by renowned celebrity builder, John D'Agostino at a reported cost of around $1 million. Upon completion, this marvelous custom creation swept the show circuit and won just about every national award it was entered in, including the Best of Show award at the Sacremento Autorama Custom d'Elegance and The Most Fashionable Car award at the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance. The car has also received awards at the Carmel Mission Classic, GNRS, West Coast Kustoms, Santa Maria 2015 and Goodguys Nationals.
Built Celebrity Kustoms in Italy, this 'Elvis III' is the sequel to two of Mr. D'Agostino's previous creations, the 'Elvis' and 'Elvis II' tribute cars. Designed to fulfill the vision of its creator, this Series 62 was lavished with thousands of hours of labor to create a truly one-of-a-kind build. The car was given a full frame off restoration while Celebrity Kustoms' fabricators prepared dozens of unique details including the chopped top, fully removable White Ash T-Tops, reduced size rear window, shaved doors, and much, much more. Featuring a fully dressed 390ci V8 and four-speed automatic transmission, the end result is as easy to drive as the original.
A fully adjustable air suspension allows the car to be raised to drive height or lowered nearly to the ground for showing. Essentially every element of the car has received a customization or unique touch - for example, the chassis has been completely painted in Gold and features pinstriping by an Italian artist. The headliner features wood trim with inset lighting in the central spire.
