This wonderfully original example of a desirable long-bonnet WO Bentley 4. 5 lite Vanden Plas Tourer has just arrived.
In the same single ownership for the past 65 years, it was fitted with a VdP open tourer body from new, and in more recent years has been the subject of a comprehensive restoration by Clive Oliver and the Bentley specialists at South Stoke. A numbers matching example featuring a close ratio ‘D’ box this Bentley remains in superb condition having been well maintained but sparingly used, and would make an ideal candidate for rallies like The Flying Scotsman, Scottish Malts or the La leggenda di Bassano.
