An amazing Griffith finished in a great colour combination that has covered just 16, 000 miles in the hands of four owners from new. Featuring factory fitted power steering, a unique split removable roof solution and custom-made exhaust system, this 500 remains in virtually ‘as new’ original condition throughout – a rare example indeed.
The car was supplied when new late in 2000 to a Scottish collection via main dealer, Brandon TVR. The car remained with this private collector until 2012, covering just 5, 000 miles in this time, at which point it was directly purchased by TVR dealers, Fernhurst Motor Company. They sold the car to a second owner who retained it until last year, the mileage rising to 15, 150 miles in these ten years of ownership. This second owner continued to look after the car well with regular servicing and maintenance by TVR specialists, most latterly the highly regarded TVR experts, Str8six.
Str8six sold the Griffith to its third owner, a regular Hairpin customer, a knowledgeable collector with a great private collection of only the very best cars. We purchased the car from him late last summer and sold it immediately without marketing to another longstanding client who again has the highest standards. We recently sold this last owner a rather special Porsche and were delighted to have the TVR return to us in this deal.
