Offered in both a Coupe and Roadster body, the ‘race-bred’ N400 was introduced as a special edition of the V8 Vantage celebrating the N24 production race car’s Nürburgring 24 Hours success. Aston Martin intended on building 240 examples of each, amounting to a total of 480 to commemorate the number of seconds in the N400’s Nürburgring lap time of 8 minutes. However, it is believed that only 195 Roadsters left the production line. The limited run model was available in three new exterior paint colours: Bergwerk Black, Lightning Silver and Karussell Orange.
The current owner fell in love with this car at first sight and was particularly drawn to the N400’s special features upon purchasing the car. The standard V8 Vantage’s 4. 3-litre engine was carried over but given an increased power output of 400 bhp enabling it to reach a top speed of 177 mph and a 0-62 mph time of 4. 95 seconds. The N400 is equipped with up-rated springs and dampers, a limited slip differential, and mesh grills, side strakes and rear diffuser blades all in Magnum silver. Interior upgrades include an exclusive micro-spin alloy facia, perforated seat inserts and a unique numbered Limited Edition sill plaque. The N400 also came with HID headlamps, Bluetooth and Satnav systems, and an Aston Martin 700 W Premium Audio System as standard equipment.
