1989 Jaguar XJS 3. 6 XJRS TWR Homage
Grab your chance to own a proper Jaguar of the 1980s, a car built on racing heritage, an economic alternative to the V12 XJRS, this has the smaller 220bhp 3. 6 Litre Straight 6, which is still feels punchy even by today’s standards, but with the TWR XJRS body kit, which includes, the colour coded bumpers, side skirts, rear spoiler and the blacked-out headlight bezels and front grill, giving a more sporting stance. On the inside are dark blue leather seats complemented by Burled Elm wood accenting. Features include, climate control with air conditioning, a trip computer, electric windows, electric mirrors, a period upgrade Grundig 3650 Reverse Radio Cassette & 6 Disc Changer (mounted in the boot).
Replaced in last year have been various front suspension components, one of the rear wheel bearings (an extremely specialist job), a brand new tinted windscreen, and a professionally retrimmed in light grey headlining, plus the front and rear floor pan sound deadening replaced. Jaguar XJS’s are well known for water leaking into the car, a great level of time has gone into fixing these problems to keep the inside dry on this example. The TWR body kit was removed and professionally restored and repainted too. Additionally replaced was the distributor cap and rotor arm, both auxiliary belts and the thermostat.

Please note, the electric windows aren't currently working, although sometimes they come back to life. Included in the sale is a new A/ C Condenser for the R12 to R134a A/ C Gas Conversion.
