Part of an unusual collection of Vintage machines
A rare Black Country-built motorcycle
One of only a handful of examples known to survive
On offer for the first time in many decades
Made by Wisemann in Birmingham 1919-1925, Verus motorcycles had their own 211cc and 269cc two-stroke engines and also 246cc to 996cc four-strokes made by Blackburne and JAP. Wisemann also built Sirrah and Weaver motorcycles.
This c. 1920 Verus has been in the late vendor's ownership for many decades and has formed part of a collection of rare and unusual machines. Used once in a while, but not for a few years, it is a very rare machine today, especially as it has Verus' own engine design, not the usual Blackburne engine. On offer for the first time in decades this would make an interesting and fantastic addition to any Vintage motorcycle collection. Recommissioning would be advised before placing it back on the road. This machine is sold without any paperwork or a registration number. An age-related number would have to be applied for.
