TORNAX was founded in 1925 and ceased operations in 1955. In the post-war period, the company specialised in building 123, 173, 197 and 248 cc motorbikes. The company produced high quality vehicles. Great attention was paid to the Tornax racing machine from 1951. Our Tornax Z250 has been extensively restored and corresponds to the advertising brochure of the time, which we quote as follows: "Ownership of this spirited machine will be the envy of the rider everywhere". Of course, todays woman would envy the rider and not only because of the instrument with the gear indicator, but also because the machine was considered the benchmark in motorbike construction at the time.
