Description
Another day another superb quality Minor rolling out of the WRCC workshop.
This time she is a 1969 Maroon B 2 door saloon, that was kept as a museum piece until her last owner purchased her and recommissioned her ready for use last year.
The bodywork is in very good clen order as you would expect from a museum car, that was refurbished to attract attention.
The paintwork is good, with a nice shine although as always we would not describe it as perfect, we have done work to improve her due to the odd scratch here and there.
Chrome and trim wise the Minor is in good order and is a very attractive Minor to look at.
The Cars underside is also good, having been checked stripped, repaired and recoated for peace of mind.
We have fitted new Centre cross member ends and chassis legs,
Mechanically the Minor is very good her 1098cc A series is full of punch and pulls her well.
The transmission is nice and smooth as is the suspension.
Braking wise she is also good and pulls up well, in all she is a pleasure to drive, she has had a new alternator fitted whilst here for improved charging.
The Minors cabin is lovely and clean with an as new headliner and sunvisors, good trims carpets and seats finished in Cherokee red which compliments The Maroon B exterior perfectly.
She has also been upgraded with VOLT Gauge, water Temp and oil pressure, and mains voltage clock so you can keep an eye on whats going on on longer journeys.
A 12v & USB power outlet has also been fitted to charge phones, Sat Navs and other appliances.
The interior light has also been upgraded with LED bulb,
The Minor only has 5 previous keepers on the logbook, and comes with a large file full of history, including a newspaper article that details her life in the museum.
In Summary this a very striking Minor saloon, not only a pleasure to drive but is very easy on the eye.
All the structural works required have been carried out so you can buy with peace of mind.
