‘YE54 ZLN’ comes from a period of ownership of over 15 years with the current vendor being just this Land Rover’s third to date. When the vendor acquired it, ‘YE54 ZLN’ had covered around 32, 000 miles and a further 84, 000 miles, or so, have been covered since then to bring it to a below average 116, 000. ‘YE54 ZLN’ comes with a full service history and boasts an advisory free MOT until April 2025. What’s more it looks fantastic in its 90,” six seat station wagon configuration and plenty of later aesthetic upgrades. ‘YE54 ZLN’ is a 2. 5 TDi five speed manual version and comes complete with two keys and an original book pack including the service booklet. A great looking Land Rover Defender with a great history and provenance.

‘YE54 ZLN’ presents in bright silver paintwork and is awash with black gloss finished accents and accoutrements. These include tubular side steps, later front grill, headlamps and sidelights, roof panel, Defender snorkel and areas of protective chequer plate. The wheel arch extensions are also finished in gloss black and provide extra protection to the familiar five spoke Land Rover alloy wheels. These are fitted with a chunky set of BF Goodridge A/ T tyres which look to retain plenty of grippy tread. Heavy duty Land Rover mud flaps are also fitted. The interior of ‘YE54 ZLN’ is trimmed in grey Exmoor trim and is in the practical and desirable six seat station wagon configuration. Paintwork, bodywork and interior are all considered as “good.”

‘YE54 ZLN’ is fitted with the 2. 5-litre 300TDi turbo-diesel engine which was originally rated at around 120bhp. This is mated to the five speed manual transmission transferring power to the permanent four wheel drive system. Of course, all the key four wheel drive paraphernalia is present including full time four wheel drive and high / low ratio transfer box. Given this specification there are very few vehicles that can stick with a Land Rover Defender off road. All mechanical systems are vendor rated as “good.”

In summary:

· A fine looking Defender 90 with a smart, contemporary look

· A low owner, sensible mileage example of this iconic off-roader

· Compete with a full service history and advisory free MOT
