‘P190 ADD’ is an E36, third generation four door, 3 Series saloon in 316i, five speed manual configuration. With just seven keepers to date and an indicated 86, 000 miles covered, ‘P190 ADD’ boasts an admirable provenance for its age. This is further enhanced by a great service history with ‘P190 ADD’s’ service book containing a full 15 stamps for oil services and full inspections. The signature, drop-down tool kit is admirably complete, a long MOT is present until March 2026 and there is lots of accompanying paperwork on hand. The vendor notes that ‘P190 ADD’ is “mechanically faultless, drives faultlessly and never misses a beat.” What’s more, ‘P190 ADD’ is offered here with no reserve and so represents an exciting and, possibly, great value lot.
‘P190 ADD’ adds to its desirability with a popular, original livery of Polar White over black leather. ‘P190 ADD’ sports a body coloured aero kit including boot spoiler and side skirts. A set of 15-inch, multi-spoke BMW alloy wheels are fitted shod with a matching set of quality Bridgestone tyres. Inside this E36 is trimmed in black leather throughout. The condition of this looks pretty good with just some minor areas of wear in the usual places such as the driver’s bolster and internal door handles. The iconic, driver-centric dashboard is present, with crystal clear VDO gauges and original three spoke steering wheel. The headlining has been pinned up due to some glue deterioration and sagging. The originality on show in here is impressive and desirable. Bodywork, paintwork and interior are all rated as “average” by the vendor.
‘P190 ADD’ is fitted with the 1596cc M43B16, four cylinder petrol engine. This is a fuel injected unit originally rated at 102bhp and 111 lb-ft of torque. In this case it is mated to the optimal five speed manual gearbox which transfers power to the rear wheels. As previously noted, ‘P190 ADD’ has enjoyed a diligent service history with the last one documented at 83, 000 miles in October 2024.
