1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1 327 V8 4 Speed Manual, finished in Honduras Maroon Metallic with Fawn Beige Interior, white convertible roof and factory chrome wheel covers sporting white-band tyres.
We are proud to offer this outstanding and completely unique and factory original C1 Corvette presenting in exceptional order throughout reportedly covering just 4, 100 miles from new. Indeed, its production-line chassis chalk marks were still in evidence after inspection on the car’s arrival to the UK in 2020.
One of the very last of the C1 Corvette’s before the introduction of the new C2 Corvette Stingray the following year. Although in remarkable original condition it has been through the hands of marque specialist Corvette Kingdom for various works including the fitting of Electric Power Steering, gearbox serviced, new clutch, radio and clock back up and working and the fitting of new old-stock carpets, being the only area to show any signs of wear.
It has further benefitted from attention to its factory paintwork including professional detailing and ceramic coating making it look in effect like new paintwork and not belonging to a car that is now 63 years old.
With the addition of Power Steering and the last owner’s attention to detail and care this is without doubt one of the very best C1’s we have had the pleasure to drive. A completely stunning example that we think would be hard if not impossible to match or replace anywhere.
