Peugeot 205 1. 1 GL 1990
1. 1L Tu1 engine. Bought at 1 owner, since then just owned and maintained by my Father and I. As such not much paperwork regarding repairs but full MOT history is available online.
Pros:
Starts, runs and drives.
Unique and head-turning classic.
Immaculate interior.
Economical for fuel.
Great fun to drive.
Recent front and rear brakes (less than 1000 miles).
MOT Until July.
Oil, filters, cooling fan thermo switch and thermostat changed Aug '23.
Coolant flushed and renewed summer '24.
Heaters and windscreen heaters still working
Stored in garage overnight for the last 2 years.
Cons:
Exhaust has leak (Blow on the manifold to downpipe join, and downpipe needs replacing as it's come apart in bracket), mid-pipe and muffler replaced at the end of '22.
Driver's side headlight lens has crack but only minor defect on MOT.
Small spots of rust as shown in pictures, 5p sized hole under rear passenger seat where it's rusted through but hole has been plugged to prevent further ingress of moisture.
A few dents and dings as to be expected with age, shown as best as possible in pictures.
2 small chips in windscreen not even picked up on MOT.
Noisy alternator belt but was recently replaced so likely just needs tensioning, stops shortly after starting.
Rear windscreen washer not working.
Dashboard clock mechanism not working.
