Alfa Romeo’ s 155 was unveiled in 1992 as a mid-range saloon successor to 75. Designed by I. DE. A’s Ercole Spada, it combined the silhouette of the 164 with elements of 75 to an impressive aerodynamic coefficient that would soon prove vital in motorsports. Power was produced by 4-cylinder units ranging from 1. 6 to 2. 0 lt twin spark to 2. 5 lt V6 to be delivered to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. Notably, a special version was released equipped with Lancia Delta Integrale’s 2. 0lt DOHC engine and 4-wheel drive drivetrain. Alfa Corse explored the racing potential of 155 into a touring star with multiple wins at German DTM, Spanish Touring Car Championship, Italian Superturismo Championship and International Touring Car Championship with reputable sponsors including Martini Racing.
The 155 offered was produced in late 1993 in Bianco over Grey interior to feature the 1. 7 Twin Spark 8-valve engine and the 5-speed gearbox. Unlike most 155, this was preserved under single ownership and regular maintenance to an impressive original paint stellar cosmetic condition with just over 100k kms on the odometer. It is now offered fully serviced with Martini Racing history inspired side decals and Speedline wheels.
