1995 520i SE Auto, Fjord Grey, 141000miles, full service history, grey cloth interior, Air Conditioning (ice cold!), trip computer, central locking, duel climate control, electric windows. Everything works!
This is a much loved family car that has been used regularly, we’ve just been down to the south of France and back and it never missed a beat. This is where the photos were taken. Reason for sale is needing to buy a Land Cruiser.
This car really has to be seen, as it has been kept in a garage there is no rust whatsoever, it’s incredible. HPI clear.
The headlining needs tidying up, steering wheel and seat bolster on drivers side is worn but other than that this car is in superb condition.
I have used this car to get me to and from work so it was very important to me that the car is 100% reliable, I spent a-lot of money on it keeping it in top condition and replacing parts before they fail.
Here’s what’s been done in the last 2 years;
- [ ] Complete set of front suspension arms, links bushes.
- [ ] Starter motor.
- [ ] Vanos seals.
- [ ] Cam cover gasket.
- [ ] Complete new cooling system, pipes, rad, viscous coupling, thermostat and housing upgrade to metal and genuine waterpump (very expensive but absolutely necessary on BMWs of this age)
- [ ] Bosch Battery
- [ ] Service including spark plugs and cabin air filter.
- [ ] Blower motor and heater resistor.
- [ ] Lambda sensor
- [ ] Lemforder arms
- [ ] Gearbox selector rod upgraded to metal as the plastic ones are known to fail.
- [ ] Gearbox oil filter and gearbox oil change (castrol transmax ATF dex 3) there’s no such thing as lifetime oil.
- [ ] Two new tyres
- [ ] LED interior bulb set
