Description
Pépé's 4L is out of the barn, having been driven for the last time in 2020. It won't start because the battery (6V) is dead. One of the brake callipers is blocked, so the brakes will have to be redone before the car can be retested. It is therefore being sold without a CT.
It already has a collector's registration and is registered with the FFVE.
Body: Superficial corrosion, no major body work required, but a few dents to be repaired here and there. It could very well be driven as it is, like a beautiful 57-year-old lady who takes responsibility for herself. She's not bad for her age, as they say. Chassis very good, floorboards very good, in any case nothing perforating.
Mechanics: As far as I remember, the second gear was a bit sluggish, but it passed. The coals tended to stick, perhaps due to the battery which was already tiring at the time, the ignition had been redone?
A special feature that I've never seen on any 4L, the front seat is a bench and not 2 separate seats. It's certainly original, fitted on a slide to be adjusted, and in any case it's different from the rear seat, so it's not a DIY adaptation.
What more can I say? Nothing! come and see it if you're interested, you'll need a tray to bring it back. Thank you for reading and we look forward to hearing from you by email or phone.
