Description
Rover P4 1957 desirable six cylinder model with interesting history. We have the original day one buff log book for the car and it would appear it was retained by The Rover Company at Solihull for the first two years of its life quite possibly as a staff car. Finished in factory grey over black with remarkably original grey leather upholstery, individual sliding front seats, and more recent new tailor made grey carpets. Mot records from 1968 to 2017 confirm the mileage of around 84, 000 with just four owners and also confirm the car spent almost 60 years in the same city.
Service records indicate the car to have been well maintained over the years with more recent all new radial tyres and tubes, brakes overhauled new cylinders hoses brake shoes, front and rear shock absorbers, new rear road springs, top suspension bush kit, front wheel bearings, radiator, water pump, fully rebuilt carburettor, new modified front anti-roll-bar, and full underbody waxoyl, Inertia reel seat belts front and rear, under dash USB charging point, battery disconnect switch
