The E-Type needs little introduction. Introduced at the Geneva motor show in 1961, the series 1 ran up until 1968. initially running the 3. 8 litre engine, Jaguar switched to the 4. 2 litre after 1965 including other upgrades and modifications to include updating the dynamo to a alternator, improved brake servo assistance and improvements and modernisation to the interior seats and dashboard
Finished in Opalescent Silver Grey, this matching numbers car was imported from California in 2016, having been identified as a low miles, low owner vehicle with a very solid shell and foundation for a total restoration. The vendor then set about commissioning a complete rebuild to their specifications. completed in 2021, the vehicle has remained stored and garaged within their private collection, and very rarely displayed. The car currently is not registered in the UK, but comes complete with its California Title/ certificate of ownership. To this means we could assist in the registration process or export the vehicle.
