The car is in Northern Ireland and comes with a standard UK V5 registration document. It can be used anywhere in the UK without reregistering or incurring any import duties. Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes averages £400.
First registered on 1st May 1988, a 3 owner car with only 29, 300 miles on the clock. Although we cannot guarantee the mileage, there is some history with the car, and the condition of the interior suggests it could be correct.
The exterior is in very good condition, with only a few minor blemishes, inevitable for a car of this age. The paintwork is bright and shiny with a few minor blemishes as expected on a car this age.
Under the bonnet, in the boot, and across the underside, the car is solid, and structurally sound, a rare find in this condition.
Out on the road, she performs well, with a quiet engine, and a smooth gearbox that operates effortlessly, making every drive a pleasure.
The Mazda 323, produced from 1977 to 2003, was a reliable and affordable compact car, also known as the Familia in Japan and the Ford Laser in some markets.
Initially rear-wheel drive, it switched to front-wheel drive in 1980, improving efficiency.
Later generations introduced fuel injection, turbocharged variants, and all-wheel drive.
By 1998, the 323 had become more refined before being replaced by the Mazda3 (Axela) in 2003.
Known for its durability and practicality, it remained a popular choice worldwide.
The description of the car reflects my personal opinion based on my experience, and time with the car. However, opinions are subjective, and what I find acceptable may differ from your perspective.
Please don’t compare her to a modern car, she’s 37 years old, built to the engineering and design standards of her time. As with any classic car, there will always be room for improvement and jobs that need attention.
It is also inevitable that she will require ongoing attention, maintenance, and repairs.
If you're considering purchasing the car, I strongly encourage you to examine and test it in person to ensure it meets your expectations and suits your needs. This will give you the opportunity to fully appreciate its condition and assess whether it’s the right car for you.
