This 1989 on a G registration, recently serviced, sunroof example in graphite grey, now happily boasts 450 bhp through its all wheel drive system, but thanks to its Club Sport themed quest to just add lightness, means it only tips the scales at a mere 950kg

ENGINE: 1. 8 20v T fully forged engine, with recently rebuilt Garrett GTX 3076R Turbo, JE pistons with 82. 5mm rings, conrod set 144mm forged scat, CAT cams, HD splutter bearings, main bearing set, APR main studs, APR heavy duty flywheel bolts, APR crank damper, full supertech valve terrain kit and 3 grove super alloy valves, all new stem seals, guides and gaskets, double platinum spark plugs, baffled sump, port matched and polished inlet, Ross Racing inlet manifold, R32 throttle body, TST manifold, tial wastegate, pro alloy intercooler, pro alloy radiator with twin cooling fans, setrab oil cooler paired with laminova oil-water cooler, turbo smart turbo oil pressure regulator, Murray constant tension boost clamps all round, oil catch can, complete manifold and down pipes covered in BTCC rated thermal heat insulation done by Immico, Bosch 044 fuel pump, Ross Racing fuel rail, 660cc injectors, integrated engineering billet surge tank and a new genuine fuel pump
TRANSMISSION: Fully rebuilt 02M 6 speed gearbox, Quaife differential (front), Audi TT 225 rear Haldex (diff) and a custom balanced propshaft
SUSPENSION, HANDLING & BRAKES: AP racing 330 front brake kit with PF0176, AST coil over suspension, Eibach anti roll bar and SuperPro poly bushings everywhere, sitting on Compomotive TH1781 8 x 17 ET20 alloy wheels with Yokohama tyres INTERIOR: Recaro seats, OMP harnesses, MOMO steering wheel, full 6 point cage with cross in rear and low door bars, lifeline 4ltr plumbed FIA mechanical fire extinguisher system, Tilton pedal box and an Odyssey lightweight battery with isolation
ELECTRICAL / TECH: Complete custom wiring loom by Si-Lek, EMU black series ECU by ECU Masters, ECU Masters ADU 5 dash with adaptor harness, ECU Masters USB to CAN kit, ECU Masters GPS to CAN v2 device, USB logging kit and finally a Van De Veer fully independent Haldex controller (allowing you to control front to rear 4WD bias via the app)
